Since the Cockalier is a hybrid designer breed, their traits may vary depending on the lineage. Although the coats have different colors and markings, Blenheim, which is a white color with spots that are golden red, is one of the typical coat color.

History

The Cockalier dog breed is a result of crossbreeding between the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Cocker Spaniel. Although breeding “designer” dog has been trendy for the last few years, some of the biggest pedigree registry associations don’t officially consider them as a breed, while others, such as American Canine Hybrid Club, recognized them.
