History

As one of the oldest Spaniels type known to the world, the origin of English Cocker Spaniel was considered to be from England several centuries ago. The breed was later developed into several different Spaniel types. “Cocker" in the name originated from a bird in a game. English Cocker Spaniels are very good at serving as watch dog, retrieving things, and forest hunting.
