History

The origin of English Setter was considered to be from England several hundreds of years ago. Today’s breed is actually the mixed blood of many different types of hunting breeds. The modern breed was developed by a gentleman from England around 19th century. In around 1827, Sir Laverack bought his first two dogs and they were the beginning dogs of the breed. Modern day’s Setters breed looks unique due to their head shape, energetic bodies and long tails
