Appearance

Morkies are very small and compact, yet sturdy and hard. Their coats typically fall into two main categories: black and butterscotch (blonde or champagne) or black and tan. They have soft coats, and their tails are either long or docked.

History

Bred to be a designer dog, the Morkie is a crossbred between the Yorkshire Terrier and Maltese. The name is a portmanteau combining the two breed names. They are are very tiny dog breed, and they are a great fit for families that don’t want to own big dogs.
